"Spice" is a 14 year old Quarter Horse mare. Standing 14.2h. She is an agile and dependable athlete that we have enjoyed in the barrel pen. She is consistent and automatic. Normally cruising in the 2D with an experienced rider. She is safe for an experienced youth rider. She is a horse that needs to be warmed up before a run. She can be on the muscle in the alleyway, but nothing dangerous. Spice competes in a hackamore but will tune up in a soft combination or gag during the week. She requires the normal maintenance of a performance horse (hock injections and TMJ injections). She does require a daily Levothyroxine Supplement for her thyroid. ($32/month) She has also been an asset anytime we needed extra horsepower working cattle. She is not afraid to be a cowboy horse and get dirty. She tracks the sled and we have roped live cattle off of her. Sane and sound!
